Severe Damage to Trosjed Cable Car Halts Skiing at Sljem Red Spus for This Season
The Trosjed cable car on Crveni spust sustained significant damage during a July storm, leaving experts from the Austrian company Doppelmayr to assess the damage and conclude that it was beyond repair. This means that the Crveni spust will not be operational for skiing this year, disappointing many skiing enthusiasts. However, preparations for the ski season on the White and Green slopes are underway, with officials from the City of Zagreb stating that preparatory work has been completed and snowmaking will soon begin to prepare for the ski season. Additionally, plans for the procurement of a new cable car for the Red Slope are in progress.
