Saturday Electricity Prices Plummet in Stunning Visual Representation
Due to low wind power production, the price of exchange electricity has been high this week. On Saturday, the taxed price of electricity remained above 10 cents per kilowatt hour for most of the day, reaching a peak of 16.12 cents per kilowatt hour at around 5 p.m. The lowest price of electricity was at midnight on the night before Saturday and Sunday, when it cost about 7.3 cents per kilowatt hour including taxes.
In comparison to the average price in November, which was 7.3 cents per kilowatt hour, Saturday’s price was significantly more expensive. However, it is important to note that this is due to specific circumstances related to wind power production and should not be taken as a reflection of long-term trends in the electricity market.
