San Anselmo Business Hit by Vehicle: Latest Updates

At approximately 12:20 p.m., a Toyota 4Runner crashed into Sugarfoot Books Inc., a downtown shop located at 615 San Anselmo Ave. in San Anselmo, California. The incident was reported by the Ross Valley Fire Department, who stated that no one was injured in the accident. Battalion Chief Jake Peterson explained that the driver of the Toyota 4Runner had backed into a parked car before colliding with the storefront.

According to Peterson, the incident was an accident and there were no signs of impairment on the part of the driver. He also stated that there were no other vehicles or pedestrians involved in the crash.

Sugarfoot Books Inc. is a popular independent bookstore that has been serving the community for over 30 years. It is not yet known how much damage was caused by the accident and whether or not it will be closed for repairs while investigations continue.
