Microsoft is set to introduce a new feature to Windows 11, Super Resolution, which aims to enhance the visuals of your games. This feature was discovered in a hidden setting within a preview version of Windows 11, which is set to launch later this year.
With the help of AI, Super Resolution will automatically improve the quality of your games by weaving it into Windows 11. The feature can be tweaked for each game to achieve the desired results. This information was revealed by @PhantomOfEarth on X (Twitter), who shared a sneak peek of the upcoming Windows 11 update.
Another tech enthusiast, @Thebookisclosed, also stumbled upon this feature in the preview version of Windows 11 and shared a video on X. You can try out this feature yourself with ViveTool, which can be downloaded from GitHub.
To activate the Super Resolution feature, you need to open the command prompt as an administrator and enter the activation key: vivetool /enable /id:39695921 /variant:3. After entering the key and restarting your computer, the feature should be ready to use.
