MLB unveils new rules and format for 2024 Home Run Derby

Revamped Home Run Derby: Major League Baseball Returns to Arlington in July 2024 with New Twists and Dynamic Format

Arlington, Texas will host the Major League Baseball 2024 All-Star Home Run Derby on July 15th at Globe Life Field. This event has undergone some significant changes following feedback from past participants who felt that it was moving too quickly.

One of the major changes is that players will now face a maximum of 40 pitches in each timed round, as opposed to rushing through as many swings as possible within the previous time limit.
