Pasco County Residents Urged to Participate in Community Health Needs Assessment Survey by DOH-Pasco

Reshaping the Future of Public Health in Pasco County: Florida Department of Health Launches Community Health Needs Assessment Survey

The Florida Department of Health in Pasco County (DOH-Pasco) is seeking community input through the release of their Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) Survey. This survey aims to gather feedback on nutrition, physical activity, access to care, and mental health from Pasco County residents.

DOH-Pasco encourages all residents to participate in the survey, which can be accessed online at bit.ly/49jcn1t or by scanning the provided QR code. The deadline to complete the survey is April 15, 2024.

The data collected from this survey will be used to create a community health improvement plan that addresses the most pressing issues identified by residents. By participating in the survey, residents can help prioritize health needs in their community and drive awareness, action, and improvement.

Health Officer Trang Chitakone emphasizes the importance of community input in shaping public health initiatives. She believes that collaboration between state, county, and community levels is crucial for protecting and promoting the health of all individuals in Florida.

To participate in the survey, individuals must be 18 years or older and reside in Pasco County. The survey consists of 16 main questions with follow-up questions based on responses, as well as eight demographic questions. Completing the survey is expected to take around 10 minutes of your time.
