Race Across the World: 15,000-km Challenge Awaits Five Teams in New Season on BBC One and BBC iPlayer

In the upcoming season of Race Across the World, five duos will embark on a 15,000-kilometre journey through Eastern Asia. The race, which takes place on BBC One and BBC iPlayer starting from Wednesday 10 April, will test the teams’ physical and emotional limits as they navigate through six seas and eight borders. Only one team will emerge victorious and claim the grand prize of £20,000.

The series is produced by Studio Lambert and is an 8-episode race that challenges the teams to complete a course without smartphones, internet access, or bank cards. The participating teams include two mother and daughter duos, best friends, a married couple, and a brother and sister pair.

Race Across the World is commissioned by Catherine Catton with Michael Jochnowitz serving as the BBC Commissioning Editor. The Executive Producers for Studio Lambert are Tim Harcourt, Lucy Shepherd, Stephen Day with Maria Kennedy as Line Producer, Kezia Walker as Production Executive, Charlotte Woolley as Series Editor and Charlotte Jacobs as Series Producer.
