Police Provide Update on Kidnapping and Robbery Incident at Dunham’s Sports in Benton Twp.
A recent kidnapping and robbery at a sporting goods store in Benton Township, Mich. has left the community on edge. On last Friday, an armed robbery occurred at Dunham’s Sports store, where two suspects held the store manager hostage while one of them stole a large number of pistols from the store.
Thankfully, the manager was able to escape after the robbery and call the police, who were able to track down and apprehend the suspects. Most of the stolen pistols have been recovered, but one remains missing. Law enforcement officials will be holding a joint news conference on Tuesday at 12 p.m. EST to share more details about the investigation.
