The Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a man allegedly stole an ATM from a business in Boyce. According to RPSO, a man approached a business in the 5500 block of Old Boyce Road on February 12, around 4:55 a.m. He allegedly backed up a black Ford Fusion into the business and rammed the front doors, breaking them off the hinges to gain access to the building.

Once inside, RPSO said he took the ATM machine, placed it in the vehicle and left the business about six minutes later. The black Ford Fusion should have heavy damage to the rear and is missing side mirrors. It lost its rear bumper and several undercarriage items.
