Philadelphia sports radio host Howard Eskins has been suspended from Citizen’s Bank Park for the rest of the Phillies season after an incident where he allegedly gave an “unwelcome kiss” to an Aramark employee, as reported by Audacy. The incident occurred in May and was investigated by Audacy, Aramark, and the Phillies.
Audacy, the owner of 94 WIP sports radio where Eskins hosts his show, took immediate action to address the matter upon becoming aware of it. In a statement, they expressed their commitment to maintaining a safe and respectful workplace for all employees.
The Phillies also issued a statement supporting Audacy’s decision to suspend Eskins from the stadium, stating that the safety of their employees is paramount. Aramark confirmed the incident and expressed their dedication to ensuring a safe working environment for their staff.
Eskins, who has been a prominent figure in the Philadelphia sports scene since the 1980s, will continue hosting his regular Saturday morning radio show during his suspension from Citizen’s Bank Park. NBC10 attempted to contact Eskins for comment but has not received a response at this time.
