Philadelphia Sports Radio Host Howard Eskin Suspended from Citizens Bank Park after Unwanted Advance Toward Aramark Employee

Philadelphia sports radio broadcaster Howard Eskin has been suspended from Citizens Bank Park until the end of the season following an investigation that revealed he made an unwanted advance toward a woman who worked for Aramark. The incident involved Eskin, 73, giving the woman an unwelcome kiss at the ballpark in May, prompting the investigation.

Aramark, the food service provider for the ballpark, confirmed the incident and stated that they took immediate action to protect their employees. Audacy, the company that owns the radio station where Eskin hosts a show, also acknowledged the incident and conducted an investigation before taking action.

The Phillies released a statement expressing their support of Audacy’s decision to suspend Eskin from the ballpark. Despite being banned from attending games at Citizens Bank Park, Eskin will continue to host his radio show on WIP as normal.

Eskin has been a prominent figure in Philadelphia sports media for many years, known for his bold personality. He has been with WIP since 1986 and focuses on sports radio while also serving as a reporter for Philadelphia Eagles broadcasts. Despite this suspension from Citizens Bank Park, he remains active in his role at WIP.
