Pennsylvania Technical Schools Showcase Talent at SkillsUSA Competition in Hershey
In the 2024 SkillsUSA State Competitions held in Hershey, Pennsylvania, students from various technical schools across the state, including Middle Bucks Institute of Technology (MBIT), demonstrated their skills and talent. MBIT had a total of 41 competitors at the event who earned a total of 16 medals.
The gold medal winners from MBIT included Addisyn Adams, Brianna Grumm, Brielle Zinn, Evgeny Ukraintsev, Allison Morey, Robert Miernicki, Vuluan Truong, Charleigh Buckner, Cole Kleindienst, and Greg Milano. The silver medal winners were Brian Daly, William Tantum, Barry Cleaver, and Joseph Cronin. Luke Ryan and Emma Hancock earned bronze medals.
Of the gold medal winners from MBIT eight will have the opportunity to advance to the National SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills Conference in Atlanta Georgia scheduled for June. This is a significant achievement for these students and a testament to the caliber of technical education provided at MBIT.
Overall, the competition was a showcase of talent and skills honed by students from various technical schools across Pennsylvania.
