OhioHealth Expands its Healthcare Network with Acquisition of Marion Women’s Health Center

OhioHealth recently announced that Marion Women’s Health Center will become part of their healthcare network starting on June 30, 2024. The practice will continue to operate at its current location on 960 S Prospect Street but will be renamed OhioHealth Physician Group Obstetrics and Gynecology. Patients’ medical records will be transferred to OhioHealth Physician Group and will still be available to their physicians.

Dr. Jay Moodley, a seasoned provider with 30 years of experience in Marion and a former Army veteran, looks forward to joining OhioHealth. He is eager to continue delivering the same level of care that his patients are accustomed to while also supporting the Marion community and surrounding areas. Dr. Moodley is one of the four providers at the practice, along with Allie Branham, CNM, Qin Huang, CNM, and Emma Trusty, CNM. The entire team is committed to providing excellent healthcare services under the OhioHealth umbrella.

OhioHealth President Jim Parobek expressed his excitement about welcoming Marion Women’s Health Center into the OhioHealth family. Providing quality healthcare close to home is a priority for OhioHealth as stated by Dr. Deepi Bathini, vice president of clinical affairs at Marion General Hospital. This acquisition allows patients to receive top-notch care in a comfortable and convenient manner that is close to home.
