Northwood University Ranks 9th in Top Business Schools in Mid-Career Salaries, Prepares Students for Success

Northwood University has been ranked among the top 15 business schools in the country by Think Advisor, based on the salaries of their graduates. This recognition is a testament to the academic excellence of Northwood and its ability to prepare students for success in the business world, said Dr. Kristin Stehouwer, vice president of academics and provost.

Northwood tied for 9th place on the list with graduates earning a median salary of $102,700 mid-career, according to PayScale. The university takes pride in equipping its graduates with a strong work ethic and a heightened sense of individual responsibility, said Susie Poli-Smith, vice president of undergraduate enrollment and financial aid.

Northwood’s alumni have found success in various sectors, with over 30% reporting that they own all or some of their own businesses. Many undergraduates also go on to attend the DeVos Graduate School to further invest in their education and distinguish themselves from others in today’s workforce.

PayScale considers a “business school” to be a college that grants more than half of its undergraduate degrees in business-related fields such as accounting, finance, and marketing. The median salaries shown are specific to graduates with business-related majors and do not represent the salaries of all graduates from the school who may have earned only bachelor’s degrees.
