Nokian Tires Celebrates Completion of First Romanian Tire Factory with a Projected Capacity of Six Million Tires

Nokian Tires has successfully completed the construction of its first tire factory in Oradea, Romania. The company’s press release states that the factory’s production is set to begin in early 2025 with a projected capacity of six million tires. The new factory is valued at approximately 650 million euros and will employ around 500 people once it reaches full capacity.

Adrian Kaczmarczyk, the director responsible for procurement, quality, and occupational safety at Nokian Tires, expressed his commitment to manufacturing premium tires in Romania with the same high standards as its other factories. He stated that the factory was built according to schedule and within budget.
