N’Kye Wynn, a four-star offensive lineman, has revealed that his decision to commit to Rutgers football was influenced by the relationships and culture within the program. As a key addition to Rutgers’ recruiting class, which is considered one of the best in the Big Ten conference, Wynn had offers from several other reputable programs such as Arkansas, Cincinnati, and Wisconsin.

During an interview with the ‘D Zone’ at the Get Mauled camp for offensive linemen, Wynn emphasized the importance of the relationships he built within the Rutgers program. He highlighted his connection with offensive line coach Pat Flaherty and graduate assistant Alexander Officer, noting that they had a special bond based on shared experiences. Wynn described Coach Flaherty as transparent and Coach Schiano as a coach who prioritizes family values.
