New Ulm Cathedral Senior Kiah Helget’s Home Run Leads to 16-0 Victory: From Softball to Reading and Lifting Weights

New Ulm Cathedral senior Kiah Helget hit a two-run home run against Nicollet on Monday, leading the Greyhounds to a 16-0 victory in just four innings. The game ended early due to the 15-run lead rule. Helget had an impressive performance, going 4 for 4 with four RBIs.

In a quick interview, Helget revealed some of her favorites. Her favorite food is chicken from Raising Cane’s, and her favorite movie is “The Maze Runner,” specifically the first one. When she’s not on the softball field, she enjoys reading and lifting weights.

Helget mentioned Simone Biles as her favorite athlete, admiring her skills in gymnastics. As for her favorite animal, she expressed a love for Golden Retrievers, although she has yet to convince her parents to get one for her.
