New Emergency Center Opens in Plainfield Township, Providing Top-Level Care to Northern Kent County

Trinity Health is poised to open a new emergency center in Plainfield Township, just north of Grand Rapids. The Trinity Health Emergency Center – Rockford will be located at 6050 Northland Drive NE and is expected to open its doors on July 9th.

The center will feature a team of experienced medical professionals available around the clock to treat patients with emergent conditions, injuries, and illnesses such as chest and abdomen pain. With nine beds available, the center will be equipped to provide assessment, triage, evaluation, stabilization, treatment, and priority transfer or direct admission to the hospital if necessary.

Trinity Health Grand Rapids administrator, Kristy Perez, stated that the goal of the new emergency center is to offer top-level emergency care to people in northern Kent County and the surrounding communities in a location closer to home. “We’re excited about this new opportunity to provide our patients with fast and convenient access to quality medical care,” said Perez. “With this new emergency center in place, we can help more people get the help they need when they need it.”
