Wild Science, second series for ZDF Studios to be produced by BIG MEDIA

New Documentary Series WILD SCIENCE Brings Fearsome Predators to Life with Advanced Technology and Zoological Perspective

WILD SCIENCE, a thrilling new documentary series set to begin production next month, is being brought to life through the collaboration between global production company BIG MEDIA and Germany’s ZDF Studios. The series will provide viewers with an inside look into the captivating world of Earth’s most fearsome predators.

Using cutting-edge CGI, visually dynamic footage, and a scientific zoological perspective, each episode will explore the intricate behaviors, survival strategies, and unique abilities of each animal. From the depths of the ocean to the heart of the savannah, WILD SCIENCE dives deep into the science behind the remarkable existence of these creatures.

The announcement was made by BIG MEDIA co-founder and Global Head of Production Martin Kaše and ZDF Studios’ Director Unscripted Nikolas Huelbusch. This is the second series in a multi-series output deal signed by BIG MEDIA and ZDF Studios in December 2023 for German-speaking territories.

BIG MEDIA’s Martin Kaše highlighted the advanced technology utilized in the creation of WILD SCIENCE, stating that they used AI and 3D rendering to transform nature’s creatures into detailed models. This production would not have been possible without the support of ZDF Studios, their partners. Nikolas Huelbusch expressed excitement about their involvement in this project from development to production.

This collaboration allows for a hands-on approach to productions like WILD SCIENCE, giving them access to every stage of development and production process. Huelbusch believes that this partnership will result in an outstanding product that will resonate well with viewers across all territories they serve. Plans for additional licensing deals beyond German-speaking territories are currently underway.
