New CEO Mike Gordon Brings Fresh Perspective to Marigold, Nashville’s Leading Marketing Technology Firm

Marigold, a marketing technology firm based in Nashville, has announced the appointment of Mike Gordon as CEO. Gordon is an experienced leader who most recently held the position of CEO at ArisGlobal, a company in Massachusetts specializing in clinical safety and regulatory solutions. He has also led Altus Group, a real estate asset group based in Toronto.

Gordon’s appointment comes as a replacement for Wellford Dillard, who has served as CEO of Marigold for seven years. Dillard will now be taking on the role of CEO at Avid, a media and entertainment technology company based in Burlington, Massachusetts. In his new position, Gordon expressed his excitement to continue the progress already made at Marigold and to provide innovative marketing solutions that surpass the expectations of global brands.

Formerly known as CM Group, Marigold rebranded in 2023 and currently has 100 employees in Nashville. The firm consists of various companies, including Campaign Monitor, Cheetah Digital, Emma in Nashville, Liveclicker, Sailthru, Selligent, and Vuture. With this new leadership team in place, Marigold is poised to continue its growth and success as a leading provider of marketing technology solutions globally.
