New Cayuga Health Lab Facility in Ithaca Mall Streamlines Healthcare Experience for Patients
Cayuga Health is excited to announce the launch of a new lab facility at the Ithaca Mall, which will begin operations on July 8. The lab, located at 40 Catherwood Road, is part of the medical group’s ongoing efforts to improve patient access to healthcare services.
According to Jeffrey Penoyer, COO of Cayuga Medical Associates, having the lab on-site streamlines the healthcare experience for patients and improves their access to timely medical attention. The new lab will be open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., while lab services will continue to be available at other Cayuga Health locations.
The strategic placement of the lab within the Ithaca Mall facility was carefully considered by Cayuga Health. “We chose this location because it is easily accessible for our patients and conveniently located near other medical services offered by our group,” said Penoyer. “Having everything under one roof makes it easier for our patients to get all their healthcare needs met in one place.”
Cayuga Health has been committed to improving patient access to healthcare services in recent years, and this new lab facility is just one example of that commitment.
