Niantic’s augmented reality mobile game, Pokemon Go, has recently undergone a major update to its avatar customization system. This update is part of the first of three major updates aimed at helping players rediscover the game launched in 2016. The focus of this update is on the avatar customization system, which now provides players with new and expanded options to express their style and individuality.
With this update, players can adjust their body constitution by modifying weight, muscles, and parts such as the shoulders, chest, and hips. Additionally, there are advanced options for skin tone, hair color, and eye color. Players will also have access to new facial expressions and hairstyles, with options categorized by length (Short, Medium, or Long).
Niantic plans to further update the game map based on the player’s location and introduce a new instant photography experience. This update is designed to enhance the overall gameplay experience for Pokemon Go players and provide them with more ways to personalize their in-game characters. In addition to the avatar customization system, Niantic has other updates in store to keep players engaged and excited about the game.
