With the rising costs of purchasing a new ambulance, reaching a fundraising goal becomes a significant challenge. However, the ‘Aiming to Inspire’ 15th annual fundraiser and raffle has been organized to support the acquisition of a new ambulance. Tom Papiernik, a paramedic with 13 years of experience, describes the ambulance as an emergency room on wheels. He has witnessed firsthand the wear and tear that their current vehicles have endured over the years. Papiernik emphasizes that it is not just about mileage but also the strain on vehicles. By participating in fundraising events like the clay target tournament on August 8 at the Brookings Gun Club, individuals can help ensure that the health system has the resources needed to continue providing essential services.
