Minister Vandal will be joined by several representatives from government, industry, and community organizations to discuss the details of this initiative. These representatives include the Honourable Randy Boissonnault, Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Official Languages; George Chahal, Member of Parliament for Calgary Skyview; Jyoti Gondek, Mayor of the City of Calgary; Jason Chernow, Calgary Elbow Métis District 6 Citizens’ Representative and Secretary of Environment and Climate Change for the Otipemisiwak Métis Government of the Métis Nation within Alberta; Michael Mahon, Interim CEO of Alberta Innovates; Sean De Vries, Executive Chair of the Battery Metals Association of Canada; Thomas McArthur, Chief Operating Officer of Kuva Systems.
