He criticized the decision-making of some coaches, particularly when they throw the ball into the post for a big player who is not skilled in that area. He believes that the ball should only go into the post if the player can effectively flatten the defense or create dynamic offensive opportunities.

Bronny James had a challenging season at USC, playing 25 games after recovering from a health scare that occurred at the start of his college career. His stats for the season were modest, and now he faces a decision about whether to declare for the 2024 NBA Draft or return for another season at USC, following its transition to the Big Ten.
