The FLO Business Hub, a new six-month entrepreneur training program offered by the NewBo City Market in Cedar Rapids, is designed to provide participants with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to succeed in a competitive business environment. The program, which stands for Fellowship for Launching Opportunities, will start on May 8 and cost $249. Limited scholarships are available for those who cannot afford the fee.
The FLO Business Hub program is intended for entrepreneurs who are looking to launch or grow their businesses. Participants will meet three times a month for classes, peer review sessions, and networking events. Led by business professionals, the classes will cover topics such as writing business plans, establishing banking relationships, building brand identity, and developing marketing strategies.
In addition to these classes and events, participants will also have access to insider information and priority consideration for opportunities at NewBo City Market. They will also receive discounts on vendor rates and entry to monthly networking events.
