Lancaster General Health Hosts Month-Long Blood Drives to Address Low Supplies and Benefit Community
Lancaster General Health has organized a series of blood drives in various locations across Lancaster County throughout the month of July. The aim of these drives is to address the persistently low levels of blood supplies and encourage individuals to donate blood and platelets if they are able.
To streamline the donation process, LG Health recommends that donors register beforehand either online or by phone at (717) 544-0170. Additionally, appointments can be scheduled at LG Health’s Blood Donor Center for those looking to contribute.
It is important to note that the blood collected during these drives will remain in Lancaster County and be utilized by local healthcare providers. This ensures that the donations directly benefit the community.
