Kate Gutman has been appointed as the Executive Vice President and General Manager of Ziff Davis, Inc.’s technology media group. This role encompasses PCMag, Mashable, Lifehacker, and Spiceworks. Prior to this position, Gutman served as the Senior Vice President of Content Ventures at Gannett, where she managed a portfolio of digital growth businesses and new ventures focused on attracting new audiences and expanding revenue streams through initiatives like affiliate commerce, video, brand licensing, and new subscription products.
Gutman’s career includes senior digital and business strategy positions at companies like Reader’s Digest/Trusted Brands, Rodale, Bertelsmann, and Lagardère Group. She is a graduate of Columbia University, holding an M.B.A. in management and a B.A. in economics.
