Hollidaysburg Area High School graduate Paul Frederic Anderson, 44, passed away after a brief illness at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Mansfield, Ohio and was the middle son of Terry and Marci Anderson. Paul had one older brother, David, and a younger brother, Michael.

Paul earned a degree in economics from Duke University in 2002. In addition to Hollidaysburg, he also had homes in Austin, Texas, Pittsburgh and parts of Maryland.

Paul was an avid sports fan and grew up playing basketball with his brothers. He loved watching the Duke Blue Devils, Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State Nittany Lions.

Paul is survived by his parents and brothers and their respective families. David and Emily Anderson are parents to Sydney, 18, and Jack, 14. Michael and Jana Anderson are parents to Misha, 14, Luke, 13
