Jason Tatum, Kevin Durant Headline NBA’s Teammate of the Year and Sportsmanship Award Finalists

As the NBA season comes to a close, attention is shifting towards awards season. The league recently announced the finalists for the Teammate of the Year Award and Sportsmanship Award. These accolades are voted on by current players, with teams submitting nominees and a panel narrowing down the group to the finalists.

The Teammate of the Year finalists include Mikal Bridges, Jalen Brunson, Al Horford, T.J. McConnell and more. They are recognized for their selfless play, leadership on and off the court, as well as their commitment to being a mentor and role model to other NBA players.

Meanwhile, the Sportsmanship Award finalists were also announced with players like Tyrese Maxey, Jarrett Allen, Kevin Love, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Harrison Barnes making the list. This award recognizes the player who best embodies sportsmanship on the court.

Interestingly, Harrison Barnes of Sacramento Kings is nominated for both awards this year – he was recognized for his outstanding performance in both categories. Reigning champions Jrue Holiday and Mike Conley were not included in this year’s competition but it still remains highly competitive. Current NBA players will ultimately decide who will be crowned winners of these prestigious awards.

As we look forward to seeing which players take home these honors, we can’t help but feel excited about what next season will bring for these talented individuals and their teams!
