Japan has recently achieved a monumental feat by becoming the fifth country to land a spacecraft on the moon. The Slim moon lander, operated by the Japanese Space Administration (Jaxa), successfully reawakened after a two-week lunar night. Jaxa shared a picture taken by Slim of the Moon’s crater, confirming its awakening. However, the lander has faced challenges due to hitting the Moon’s surface at an incorrect angle, causing its solar panels to not face the right direction. Additionally, Slim is not designed to withstand extreme cold temperatures that can drop to 130 degrees below zero during lunar nights.
This achievement adds Japan to the list of nations that have accomplished this feat, including the United States, Russia (at the time Soviet Union), China and India. Customers can now explore and compare different products available for purchase in the market, ranging from rifles and gun accessories to healthcare products and household items.
