Jamie Foxx is Thriving and in Good Spirits One Year After Health Scare, Says Source

Jamie Foxx Returns to Host Beat Shazam, Busy with New Projects and Netflix Film: Inside the Actor’s Compression

According to a source who spoke to PEOPLE, Jamie Foxx is doing very well as he prepares to return to hosting Beat Shazam and work on several new projects. The 56-year-old actor will be hosting the FOX game show alongside his daughter Corinne Foxx for the upcoming season.

Foxx seamlessly transitioned back to hosting Beat Shazam and was back to his usual self, showing no signs of slowing down. This return to work comes after Foxx experienced a medical issue in April 2023, which caused him to take a break from the public eye for some time.

Despite the challenge, Foxx is said to be doing well, with a focus on staying healthy and maintaining a busy schedule. While the specifics of the medical complication have not been disclosed, Foxx has hinted at sharing the full story in an upcoming stand-up comedy special.

Aside from Beat Shazam, Foxx is set to appear in multiple films, including Netflix’s Back in Action alongside Cameron Diaz. His work schedule remains full with other projects like Tin Soldier and Not Another Church Movie in the pipeline. The source mentioned that Foxx thrives on being busy and is excited about all the new opportunities coming his way.
