Ivošević Submits Complaint against Plenković for Disrespectful Remarks on Milanović’s Statements

Deputy Mayor of Split Bojan Ivošević has submitted a misdemeanor report to the Split police, accusing Prime Minister Andrej Plenković of insulting and belittling state bodies, specifically President Zoran Milanović. This action comes after Ivošević himself was fined 700 euros by the police for a similar offense earlier in the month. The Deputy Mayor spoke to police officers trying to prevent the illegal felling of a tree in Glagoljaška Street in Split, during which he called them “crazy” and “not normal.”

In an announcement on Facebook, Ivošević expressed his dissatisfaction with how the police had handled his own case and stated that he wanted to test if they would respond equally to insults against other state authorities. He believes that Mayor Ante Balov will act in the same way as in similar cases and issue a misdemeanor order against the Prime Minister for his remarks about the President.
