Israeli Army Launches Airstrikes on Hezbollah Targets in Southern Lebanon Following Rocket Attacks on Northern Israel

The Israeli Army launched airstrikes on a military structure belonging to the Shiite militia party Hezbollah in southern Lebanon in response to over a dozen rockets fired at northern Israel. The Israeli military claimed that it targeted the terrorist organization Hezbollah in the Mis al Jabal area, where terrorists were present. Meanwhile, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the rocket attacks, stating that the target was a group of enemy soldiers.

In addition, according to reports from Lebanese television network Al Manar, affiliated with Hezbollah, there were direct impacts from the rockets. However, no casualties were reported as 15 projectiles hit open areas near a military post in Menara. Air alerts were activated in the area to safeguard civilians. Furthermore, Hezbollah announced the death of one of its members, Muhamad Ibrahim al Zein, in recent clashes with Israel.

The situation remains tense as both sides continue to engage in conflict following attacks by Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) on Israeli territory which resulted in numerous casualties and kidnappings. There have been ongoing clashes between Israel and Hezbollah in southern Lebanon for many years now.
