India’s Economic Ascension and Concerns over Wealth Inequality; Meanwhile, United States Focuses on Environmental Clean-Up and Microsoft Updates Office Pricing Policy

India has become the fifth largest economy in the world, with South Asia leading growth. Over the past decade, much of this success can be attributed to the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He now seeks to build on this achievement as he looks to secure a third term in office in upcoming general elections. While many Indians report feeling better off economically, there are concerns that the wealth gap in the country has widened.

On the other hand, the United States is currently investing billions of dollars in cleaning up industrial facilities as a way to improve environmental conditions and public health. Microsoft has also announced that millions of users worldwide will now need to purchase Microsoft Office separately from Teams, a change that may impact how users access and utilize these software tools.
