Illinois vs Southern: Live Gameday Coverage and Analysis

The final game of Illinois’ busy weekend takes place tonight at 7 p.m. as they face off against Southern in the second of three games in what is essentially a non-MTE, MTE series. The objective for tonight’s showdown against the Jaguars is to get off to a better start than they did on Friday. While Illinois did manage to beat Valparaiso, trailing by 10 at two points in the first half wasn’t part of the plan. It seems that this has been a trend against mid-major opponents this season, so it will be interesting to see how things play out.
