Hungarian National Championships Mark Milak’s Return to Competition

In April 2024, the Hungarian National Championships will be held from April 9th to April 12th. One of the top athletes to watch during this competition is world record holder Kristof Milak. The 24-year-old is entered in six events, including the 50m, 100m, and 200m freestyle events as well as the 50m, 100m, and 200m butterfly. Despite being out of the pool since last year’s Hungarian Championships, Milak already holds Olympic Qualification Times in the 100m (50.80) and 200m fly (1:52.58) from that competition. He resumed training in mid-January and aims to be in his best form for the Paris Olympic Games.

Zalan Sarkany is another athlete to keep an eye on at the Hungarian national championships. He holds the PAC-12 conference record with a time of 14:23.01 in the men’s 1650y freestyle at the championships. Later, he won an NCAA Championship title in that same event with a time of 14:3
