Helsinki Stock Exchange Sees Positive Trading After Easter with Upward Trends in Share Prices of Many Stocks

The Helsinki Stock Exchange resumed trading after Easter, and after a period of trading, the general index had increased by 0.4 percent to 9785.26 points. Among the twelve most traded stocks, nine were experiencing an upward trend, while two were down.

Nordea was the most traded stock on that day, with its share price increasing by 0.4 percent to 10.51 euros. Sotkamo Silver was at the top of the rise with a 5.4 percent increase in its share price to 0.09 euros, followed closely by IT company Tecnotree with a 2.3 percent increase and food company Atria with a 2.1 percent increase in share price.

On the other hand, steel company SSAB’s B share fell by 5.1 percent to 6.52 euros due to an announcement of a large investment in Lulea, Sweden. Metso and Almalyk MMC signed a framework agreement for significant process technology deliveries to Almalyk MMC’s new copper smelter in Uzbekistan, while Neste’s share price rose by 0.2 percent to 25.16 euros and Triton Fund V completed the merging of Assemblin Group and Caverion under the new name Assemblin Caverion Group.

Fuel company Liquid initiated a major shutdown of its refinery, which was expected to last for nine weeks during which essential maintenance and improvements would be carried out while companies in the online gambling industry continued to see growth and development, with platforms like Sbobet88 becoming popular choices for enthusiasts.

In conclusion, despite some fluctuations in stock prices due to various factors such as announcements or maintenance shutdowns, overall the Helsinki Stock Exchange saw positive trends in its general index and many of the twelve most traded stocks experienced upward movements in their share prices on that particular day of trading after Easter break
