Greenville Health Department Building Destroyed by Fire: Total Loss Investigated

On Sunday morning, the Butler County Health Department building in Greenville was destroyed by a fire. The building has been declared a total loss and local authorities are working with the state Fire Marshal’s office to investigate the cause of the fire. According to Greenville Police Chief Justin Lovvorn, the fire does not appear to be intentional at this time, but the investigation is ongoing.

Health department officials have confirmed that no one was in the building during the fire and there were no injuries reported.
