Greenfield Cooperative Bank recently volunteered with Pioneer Valley Habitat for Humanity to finish a new home in Northampton. The senior leadership team put down their suits and picked up paint brushes, helping to paint the interior walls of the home. This project was part of a previous commitment by the bank to donate $10,000 towards affordable homeownership opportunities. President and CEO Tony Worden expressed the bank’s commitment to giving back to the community through this initiative. Executive Vice President Jane Wolfe noted how rewarding it was to work alongside the team and participate in Habitat for Humanity’s mission. Meanwhile, at MassHire Franklin Hampshire Career Center, a recruitment event is being held on Friday, April 26 from 10 a.m. to noon for Berkshire East Mountain Resort and Zoar Outdoor. Positions available include bike instructors, drivers, kitchen staff, maintenance workers, tour guides, and whitewater rafting instructors. For more information visit masshirefhcareers.org.
