Bernie Clarke, a dedicated volunteer at the Lake Placid Ecumenical Food Pantry, spent an hour on Monday morning packing Thanksgiving bags as part of a food assembly line. Linda Young, the organizer of the event, estimated that they would distribute around 275 bags of food throughout the day.
