Vipin Gairola has been appointed as the global operating officer at Genpact. In his new role, he will oversee global client operations, analytics, data, and technology initiatives. Meanwhile, Vidya Rao, who was previously the chief information officer at Genpact, has been promoted to the role of chief technology and transformation officer. She will be responsible for establishing a robust data office to enhance Genpact’s data capabilities.
Vidya Rao began her career at Blue Chip Computer Consultants and went on to hold various positions at Infosys, Wipro, Cambridge Technology Partners, and Accenture. She also served as a board member at Micro Focus before joining Genpact as their chief information officer.
Rao’s promotion to the role of chief technology and transformation officer is a recognition of her expertise in data management and her ability to lead transformative change within an organization. With this new position, she will be tasked with building a strong data office that can support Genpact’s growing data-driven initiatives.
