Nebraska Football Adds USC Transfer Ceyair Wright to Roster.

From USC to Nebraska: Ceyair Wright’s Unimaginable Transfer and Future in the Big Ten

Nebraska Cornhuskers have officially welcomed former USC cornerback, Ceyair Wright, to their team for the upcoming college football season. This transfer to a Big Ten program is a significant move for Wright, especially considering that just one year ago this announcement would have been unimaginable.

After spending three seasons at USC, Wright entered the transfer portal on April 25 and ultimately chose Nebraska as his new team. With two seasons of eligibility remaining, Wright made the decision official following an official visit to Lincoln earlier in the week.

During his time at USC, Wright played in 23 career games, with the 2022 season being his most productive. In that season, he played in all 14 games with 11 starts, recording 28 tackles, one interception, and two pass breakups. Aside from his football career, Wright has also dabbled in acting, appearing in movies, TV shows, and commercials. In 2021, he played a fictional son of LeBron James in “Space Jam 2” and appeared on the ABC comedy “Grown-ish.”

At Loyola High School, Wright was the focus of a documentary called “Dual Threat” produced by Overtime. As he joins the Nebraska Cornhuskers, it will be interesting to see how he contributes to the team’s success on and off the field. With his talent and experience on the field and his versatility in acting off it
