The Texans recently added Kilian Zierer to their international/exempt list, a native of Munich, Germany. Zierer began playing football at the age of 16 and quickly caught the attention of scouts with his impressive physical attributes – standing at 6-foot-7 and weighing 304 pounds, with a wingspan of 83 5/8. This led to him earning a college scholarship and playing at the College of the Canyons.
Despite going undrafted, Zierer signed with the Texans as a free agent in 2023. Unfortunately, his time with the team was cut short when he suffered an ankle injury during training camp, landing him on injured reserve. However, his journey from being a late starter in football to catching the eye of top college programs and ultimately landing a spot with the Texans showcases his determination and talent. His potential is evident, and Texans fans can look forward to seeing what he can bring to the team once he recovers from his injury.
