Yesterday, I had a setback when my bike got a flat tire and I was late for dinner with my wife. Feeling frustrated, I began to consider the idea of having a tracking device that could monitor my whereabouts and speed of travel in real-time. This would have been especially useful if she could have seen that I was walking at a slower pace than usual on my way to meet her.
I came across this idea after speaking with a hair stylist who shared how she keeps track of her kids’ locations using their cellphones. It got me wondering if there was an alternative method of tracking without relying on a cellphone. That’s when I remembered that certain convicted criminals are required to wear GPS tracking devices, which sparked my curiosity about obtaining one for myself.
While tracking devices are commonly used in cars, I wondered if it would be feasible to carry one with me without relying solely on my cellphone. A suggestion was made for me to simply carry a cellphone, but I pondered the idea of having an alternative method of tracking my movements.
