Fox Sports Presents the 16-Team College Basketball Crown Tournament in Las Vegas: Who’s In, Who’s Out and What You Need to Know

The 16-team College Basketball Crown tournament, presented by Fox Sports, is set to take place in Las Vegas from March 31 to April 6. AEG is the presenting sponsor of the event, which will be broadcasted on both Fox and FS1. The tournament features teams that did not qualify for the men’s NCAA Tournament. Two squads from the Big Ten, Big 12 and Big East conferences with television agreements with Fox Sports will receive automatic bids, while the remaining teams will be at-large participants.

Unlike previous years, only men’s teams are included in this year’s tournament. This year’s NIT final, which will be televised on ESPN, features a matchup between Indiana State and Seton Hall. The NIT serves as a consolation tournament for teams that missed out on the NCAAs. However, some teams opted out of participating in the NIT this year to focus on other opportunities such as transfer portal.
