Rowland provides update on health following absence from Portland event

Formula E Driver Oliver Rowland’s Illness Forces Him to Miss Portland Double-Header, But He Remains in Championship Contention for London E-Prix

Formula E driver Oliver Rowland was unable to compete in the Portland double-header last weekend due to illness, as announced by Nissan before the crucial Formula E rounds in the United States. However, Rowland has since provided an update on his health, stating that his condition has improved and he expects to be ready for the London E-Prix season finale. In a statement on Instagram, Rowland expressed gratitude to Nissan for providing specialist help during his illness.

Despite missing both races in Portland, Rowland is still in the championship fight. He has dropped to fifth place in the drivers’ standings but remains only 36 points behind Nick Cassidy, who failed to score any points last weekend. While he is considered an outsider for the title, it would be a remarkable achievement if Rowland were to claim the crown in his home country of Great Britain.
