Florida’s Top Cities for Business Growth: Orlando, Tampa, and Charlotte

Small businesses in Orlando have experienced rapid growth, with many of them surviving and thriving. Additionally, with one of the highest growth rates for the working-age population, Orlando offers businesses access to a large pool of potential new employees.

Tampa also ranks highly as the second-best city for starting a business thanks to its low corporate tax rate and abundance of investors. Tampa also has a large number of startups with a high survival rate on the Entrepreneurial Activity Index.

Charlotte comes in third place and offers a diverse range of industries and some of the lowest corporate taxes in the nation. This encourages companies to reinvest more capital into their business. Other top cities for starting a business include Jacksonville, Miami, Atlanta, Fort Worth, Austin, Durham, and St. Petersburg.
