Exploring the World of Illusions: Union Station’s New Interactive Exhibit ‘Eye Spy’
Union Station in Kansas City has unveiled its newest interactive exhibit, Eye Spy, which offers 2,000 square feet of immersive activities for kids and families. The exhibit replaced the Mister E Hotel and features custom hand-painted and spray-painted murals with hidden illusions that connect to Science City and its history in the city. Eye Spy also includes 15 illusive photo ops and hands-on activities for visitors to enjoy.
In addition to the interactive elements, Eye Spy also boasts a unique video technology called the “Travelvator” that virtually takes visitors around the outside of the station. The exhibit is divided into rooms based on five categories: color, nature, art, technology, and perspective. Each room offers a different experience for visitors to explore.
One exciting aspect of Eye Spy is its focus on how vision impacts our understanding of the world around us. The exhibit showcases how illusions can alter perspectives and challenge our perceptions. Visitors will be able to see things from new angles and gain a deeper appreciation for the way we see the world around us.
