Exploring the Future of Science with The Griffin Museum of Science and Industry’s New Name and Exhibits

The Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, a popular destination for families and school trips, will undergo a major transformation next week with the official unveiling of its new name: The Griffin Museum of Science and Industry. The museum announced the change on social media, along with the release of its new logo and exhibits that are sure to thrill visitors.

The change comes after a record $125 million donation from Chicago billionaire Ken Griffin in 2019, which was used to secure the museum’s future and create new experiences for its visitors. Among these is the Pixel Studio, a digital gallery that showcases cutting-edge technology and innovation.

The new logo features a modern twist on the original cube design, symbolizing inclusivity and accessibility for all visitors. Along with the updated name and logo, The Griffin Museum of Science and Industry will offer an immersive digital gallery called the Griffin Studio that explores connections between music, emotions, and science through exhibits such as “Notes to Neurons.”

Ken Griffin, founder and CEO of Citadel, expressed his support for the museum’s mission to inspire scientific exploration and innovation while keeping its visitors at the forefront of its activities. With this new name, logo, exhibits, and technology upgrade, The Griffin Museum of Science and Industry is set to become an even more exciting destination for science enthusiasts of all ages.
